National Service Scheme

An N.S.S. unit approved by the University of Calcutta is functioning in the college.  The college students, both male and female, may take up N.S.S. as one of the extension activities conducted under the guidance of a Programme Officer who is also a member of the Teaching Staff.  Apart from regular and general activities inside the college campus, the N.S.S. unit had rendered commendable social services during their special summer camps at village Teuria in Kheyada Gram Panchayet, Sonarpur, in 2004 and at Ukhila, a minority dominated ward under Rajpur-Sonarpur Municipality in 2005.
