Text Box: STATUS Sonarpur Mahavidyalaya, co-educational non-government grant-in-aid college teaches under-graduate courses in Arts, Commerce and Bio-Science subjects. In recent years enrolment has increased several times, new infrastructure has been built up, a good number of new subjects of teaching have been introduced and results of university examinations have touched all time high. We worked as a team involving all the inmates both teaching and non-teaching under the guidance of principal. The college was founded in September, 1985 and it received UGC recognition under 2f in February, 1998. COLLEGE CAMPUS One of the main attractions of Sonarpur Mahavidyalaya is its sprawling campus encompassing a big play ground, a large water body, better known as Bosepukur, two buildings and large compound along with a beautiful garden. The surrounding is quiet, serene and beautiful.
